Jim Baldovin is the founder and Principal of Conceptual Design and Planning Company. As a Landscape Architect with over 30 years of hands on experience in the field, Jim embodies CDPC's philosophy of ‘social environmentalism’ and is primarily responsible for the company's strategic planning and business development. His involvement fluctuates between site planning and development of design concepts and general business and client management. Jim's diverse background brings a unique point-of-view and approach to all of CDPC’s projects. Jim is a licensed Landscape Architect in California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Texas and Washington and is an advocate to promote industry standards and professionalism by mentoring students and recent college graduates. He holds a BS in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and is a board member for The Bourke Family Foundation which provides clean water and solar lighting for children in under developed countries.

Matt Kohlenberger | Associate Principal
Matt Kohlenberger brings nearly 40 years of professional Landscape Architecture experience to CDPC. Matt is responsible for day-to-day operation of the Costa Mesa office while tending to business development and client relations. Matt’s hands-on approach provides guidance and support to design staff during project development. Matt brings unique perspective and input to each project as a result of many years’ experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, public works, parks, and large scale residential master plans. Matt is a Registered Landscape Architect in California and Arizona.
