Landscape Designer - Entry Level

Our ideal candidate for Landscape Designer has a degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent combination of experience, training and education) and 1 to 5 years of practical experience in a landscape architectural firm; ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities and assigned workflow. Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch Up, and Microsoft Office with some practical experience using Lumion a plus. Demonstrated technical abilities and working knowledge of Landscape Architecture, urban design principles and strong horticultural knowledge. A commitment to excellence and a strong work ethic plus creative vision and artistic talent. Excellent communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
As Landscape Designer you will provide assistance to Project Managers as part of a team effort to include preparation of illustrative landscape concepts, presentation graphics and renderings, construction documents, construction details and irrigation plans. Assist with research of applicable codes and regulations, field research and site observations. Develop skills required to produce designs and plans according to project goals and office standards. Communicate with in-house personnel to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of work.
