Design and Planning Company (CDPC) established in 1992 is a professional
organization with offices in Irvine and Atascadero, California.
Our firm provides planning and landscape architectural services for
public participation projects, commercial/retail, institutional, parks
and recreation programming/planning, residential, urban and
environmental design in California as well as in other states throughout
the United States. CDPC is a full service design firm dedicated to
meeting the needs of our clients. With over twenty years of
professional service we have the experience to fulfill our Clients
goals with objectivity and cost effectiveness."
In previous projects the CDPC team has
demonstrated the ability to provide innovative and creative design
solutions that have been successfully implemented. We integrate
our projects with a group of experienced, professional and creative
designers who develop a diversity of ideas. The successful
approach to any project blends the unique user criteria with hands-on
planning, design development and construction budgeting using graphic,
written and oral presentation techniques.
Our ability to work diligently with
the design team and clients in a cost effective, efficient manner
further assists in creating a successful project. We focus on
a high level of design quality while maintaining established time
schedules and budgets. We select those team members from our staff of
over 20 who are best suited to deal with the challenges of each
projects unique requirements. Jim Baldovin RLA, Principal, and Matt
Kohlenberger RLA, Senior Associate, maintains day-to-day active
oversight and participation roles in all projects at the Irvine and
Atascadero offices. Masumi Ozawa RLA, and Howard Pierce RLA, our team leaders, bring a broad range of experience in
landscape architectural programming, site design and project management.
These key members along with our other highly qualified staff members
coordinate their efforts to produce superior design in an effective
manner. Our office is LEED certified, and advocate sustainable and
appropriate site specific design.
